Veterans’ Day Walk Around Bishop, CA 2024

Bishop, CA—A group of 30 or more individuals helped honor our country’s veterans, and members of the community of Bishop, CA came together to walk around the town to show their support. Cheryl Underhill explained that Forest Service firefighters joined this year’s walk around town, and wearing their 40-pound rucksacks, these firefighters walked three to five miles. The VFW Post #8988 sponsored the annual walk on Veterans’ Day, and these activities were also in addition to the ceremony at Pioneer Cemetery, and the annual Veterans’ Day luncheon.
